The
Dance of Joy (OS)
In Kailaash, the abode
of “Devon ke Dev…Mahadev” Kailaashpati is meditating, on the other hand someone
is cherishing all the special moments she had with her husband and she is none
other than Devi Parvati, Mahadev’s beloved wife…
Shiva and Parvati
finally re-united after a long separation, they came back to Kailaash, all the
Gods and Tridevs welcomed them. Kartikeya, Ganesha and all the Ganas were
overwhelmed to see Jagat Pita and Jagat Janani together and along with them the
whole Universe was waiting for their Blessings. Life was back to normal again,
Ganesha was too happy to get to eat Modaks and Kheer from her mother’s hand and
so were the Ganas, Kartikeya as usual was busy in practicing his daily war
moves. But Parvati was missing their beautiful yet incomplete days of
“Ekaant-Vaas” but Gauri-Nandan fulfilled her mother’s wish without her
acknowledgement. Ganesha asked for permission to spend some days in his
grand-parent’s home along with Kartikeya and all the Ganas and Mahadev agreed…
Now only Shiva-Gauri
are living in Kailaash without any disturbance. Parvati completes her
“Shringaar” by putting on the Sindoor. She still remembered that night near
Man-Sarovar Lake, the moon light was falling on the lake by adding a silvery
effect on the water…
That same moon-light
was falling on the divine face of Gauri and was reflecting her inner beauty
through her mesmerizing eyes, through her serene smile.
“No matter how many
times I see you, each and every time your beauty wonders me”-Stated Shiva. Her
Bholenath’s words broke her thoughts in the mid-way but not a single word she
missed. She blushed and looked at Shiva with ocean of love in her eyes and said
“But for me Beauty’s another name is Shiva.”
“But Today my wife not
for once glanced at that beauty! What were you thinking Gauri?” asked Shiva
despite being known that what exactly she was thinking. After Jalandhar and
Mahadev’s Mahayudh they came back to Kailaash but Parvati didn’t share a word
about her feelings.
“This is the time, you
need to open up to me Parvati”- thought Mahadev.
“Swami, you already
know what I was thinking and still…”- before she could complete “And still I
want to hear it from you”- Shiva stole her words.
“Shiva”, he smiled as
for the first time Parvati took her husband’s name with soo much passion.
“It was painful to not
realizing my truth; it was painful to not remember anything about you. That
hollowness completely broke me from inside and I know you weren’t unaware of my
pain. But now when I’m remembering those days again I’m feeling guilty as not
for a second I could recognize you and our golden memories. I failed to feel
your pain Shiva” and tears rolled down from her eyes, she knew that the very
thought of feeling her Swami’s pain would bring tears in her eyes and that’s
why she never wanted to say it before her Lord. She rested her head in his
shoulder.
“No Parvati, you never
failed to understand me and my feelings. Though we drifted apart many times but
our hearts were always linked by a wave, the wave of unconditional and
unreasonable love”- saying this Mahadev softly kissed on Parvati’s forehead and
embraced her….
But her reminiscence
suddenly breaks by the pattering sound of rain. While reliving that beautiful
moment tears filled her eyes along with a huge smile without her
acknowledgement, she knows that this rain is the outcome of her ultimate bliss
as she is the “Prakriti” herself, her each and every mood has a deep impact on
the weather. Parvati can’t control her immense joy and comes out of the cave
hurrily, like a child she enjoys the rain in Kailaash. She let her limbs
relaxed, closes her eyes and feels the touch of each water drops on her body.
The Goddess of Nature starts dancing on the rhythm and sound of rainfall, she
doesn’t need beats to dance, her emotions and the sound of her anklets are
enough to create a beautiful music.
On the other hand
Shiva’s meditation breaks as he hears the sound of anklets; he wonders where
his wife goes running in such heavy rain. He follows the sound and reaches that
place where her beautiful wife is enjoying the shower. Once again he becomes
mesmerized by this sight of nature.
“Dancers worships my
Natraj form everyday but you left me speechless today by your gracious steps
Parvati”- Shiva says smilingly.
And then the Lord of
Dance joined the Dance to complete her steps, his soft touch on her waist
startled Parvati but not a single word was necessary to express their feelings.
To complete their unsaid words they danced together, they matched steps with
each other, thus they supported one another as “no creation is possible without
the mutual support of ‘Purush and Prakriti’…
The Universe left
spell-bound on that day as they witnessed yet another sight of Love through
Shiva-Parvati’s “Ananda Tandava”- The dance of joy…
